Acabo de comprar de segunda mano una placa base placa base GIGABYTE GA-EP35-DS4, las memorias que acepta son DDR2 800/667, 8 GBS MAX. Resulta que si instalo en los slot 1 y 2 memorias RAM DDR2 800 ó 667 arranca sin problemas, pero si las instalo en los slot 3 ó 4 se apaga y reinicia solo.. I decided to upgrade my Alien R4 desktop from 32 gig Ram to 64 gig, I couldnt get it to respond with my computer, so I put my old ram back in slots, I have 4 8 gig sticks, I went to boot computer now it only reads 16 gigs of Ram, 2 DIMM slots, 13/4/2014 Got 4 of the exact same ram sticks, but now the motherboard refuses to read more than 2 of the 4 slots at a time. (used to have 8GB, now it only sees 4gb). I've tried every ram stick individually in every slot and they all work properly. I've tried every combo of 2 sticks in all possible slot combinations and all worked. Tengo la duda de si es mejor instalar un solo modulo de 8 gb de ram o poner dos de 4gb, dado que en la mayoría de las configuraciones veo dos de 4, y lo veo una tontería (dentro de mi ignorancia).
